Dr. Kristofor Kalvig
Dr. Kalvig graduated from The University of Iowa in Iowa City with a Degree in biology. He then attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Kalvig completed his 3-year surgical residency at William S. Middleton Veterans Memorial Hospital in Madison, WI.
During residency Dr. Kalvig received comprehensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, lower extremity trauma, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine, wound care and generalized podiatric foot and ankle treatment. Dr. Kalvig had the privilege to care for veterans, non-vet patients at area hospitals around the Madison community as well as spending months at the Marshfield clinic.
Dr. Kalvig is a native of Iowa and in his free time is an active runner, movie goer, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. As a runner Dr. Kalvig understands to the importance of being able to be active on your feet. His goal is to help patients heal from injury and illness, help patients maintain foot mobility, and improve the quality of life for his patients.
Dr. Kalvig is looking forward to living in the Minneapolis area, growing in the community, and serving the people of the greater Minneapolis and Minnesota areas.
