Dr. Marlene Alicea
Dr. Alicea cares for patients both through Midwest Podiatry Centers clinics and traveling with In House Senior Services. Her passion is helping patients achieve the best outcome of care.
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and with the dream to practice in the medical field, she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in biology. After that, she attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine during 9/11 graduating in 2005. Then completed her residency training at Veterans Hospital in New York City, Caritas Healthcare in Queens, New York, and New York Community Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
Her years of experience helping patients have given her the knowledge to be able to treat the many different Podiatric issues patients face every day.
Outside of taking care of patients, Dr. Alicea enjoys spending time with her family overseas in Puerto Rico, Singing in her church choir, and salsa on 2 style ballroom dancing.
