Dr. Nic Staub

An Iowa native, Dr. Nic Staub obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology from Luther College located in Decorah, Iowa. After completing his undergraduate education, he pursued his doctorate degree at Des Moines University through the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Iowa.  Dr. Staub completed a three-year residency in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Nic Staub is an outstanding board-qualified clinical and surgical podiatrist who, is an expert in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions. He takes special interest in foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, degenerative arthritis of the foot and ankle, as well as treating diabetic wounds. 

Dr. Staub takes an individualized approach with each patient when providing care and treatment. He enjoys creating a comfortable and friendly setting where he can provide each patient with the best plan and treatment for their unique needs. Dr. Staub is ardent about helping patients get to a place where he can greatly reduce or eliminate their foot and or ankle pain.

Dr. Staub’s interest in sports medicine stems from his experience playing college football. It is not surprising that he enjoys watching football outside of work, he also enjoys traveling, skiing, attending concerts, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Dr. Staub looks forward to forming new patient relationships at Midwest Podiatry Centers and cannot wait to meet you!
