Dr. Eric Nelson

Dr. Nelson grew up in Long Island, New York. He completed his undergraduate degree at Pace University with a BS in Biology in 2009 and went on to receive his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014.

After graduating, Dr. Nelson completed a 3-year surgical residency at Bellevue Hospital in New York City where he focused on surgical correction of bunions, hammer toes, fractures, amputations and various other pathologies. During residency, he took a special interest in treating acute and chronic diabetic pedal wounds while advocating for conservative treatment with the occasional surgical component, but always what is best for the patient.

Dr. Nelson believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to providing the best possible foot and ankle care, as well as educating patients to make informed decisions about their treatment options.
