Dr. Chalen Yang

Dr. Yang earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire before pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at A.T. Still University in Missouri. It was during his graduate studies that he discovered his passion for podiatric medicine and decided to pursue a career dedicated to improving patients’ mobility, health, and overall quality of life.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Yang completed a comprehensive three-year surgical residency at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where he gained extensive training in the medical and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. Seeking to further advance his expertise, Dr. Yang completed a specialized fellowship in diabetic limb salvage at the Diabetic Foot and Ankle Institute in San Antonio, Texas.
As a Minnesota native, Dr. Yang is excited to return to his home state and serve the community he proudly calls home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys staying active through biking, hiking, jogging, playing soccer, and spending time with his family.
